Science Alive! is Australia's largest hands-on science and technology exhibition, held annually at the Adelaide Showground. Every year, thousands of visitors of all ages come together to explore interactive exhibits, discover exciting STEM careers and experience the wonder of science.
Behind every great event is an awesome team of volunteers, and we'd love you to be part of ours.
Whether you're a university student looking to gain practical event experience, an event management student wanting to build your skills, a retiree looking to give back, or simply someone with a passion for STEM, volunteering at Science Alive! is a rewarding way to make a real difference while having plenty of fun along the way.
Who we're looking for
We're seeking enthusiastic, friendly and reliable volunteers who:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Hold a current South Australian Working With Children Check
- Enjoy meeting and helping people
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Are comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Have an interest in science, technology, engineering or mathematics STEM
Preference will be given to applicants who are available across both event days.
